Political Affairs Division (PAD) is guided by the overall objectives of the Secretary-General’s Action for Peacekeeping (A4P) initiative and is one of the instruments for the operationalization of the following core principles in the implementation of the Mission’s mandate through regular reporting on the Comprehensive Planning and Performance Assessment System (CPAS).
