Main trends in human rights violations in the DRC - 1st January to 31st December 2023

In 2023, UNJHRO documented 5,273 human rights violations and abuses throughout the country; an average of 439 violations and abuses per month, representing a 12% decrease from the previous year.

Durant le mois d’octobre 2017, le BCNUDH a documenté 704 violations des droits de l’homme sur l’ensemble du territoire de la RDC, soit une nouvelle augmentation par rapport au mois précédent, au cours duquel une forte hausse avait déjà été enregistrée (644 violations, contre 441 au mois d’août).
